How much is the tourist tax in Ibiza?

Who is obliged to pay it?

All tourists over the age of 16 staying in tourist establishments in Ibiza are obliged to pay the tax.

Exemptions and reductions

  • Children under 16 years of age: They are not obliged to pay the fee.
  • Long stays: From the ninth day of stay, the rate is halved.
  • Stays caused by force majeure, such as a natural disaster.
  • Stays for health care travel (patients and accompanying persons)
  • Stays financed by social programmes of a public administration of any European Union member state.
