That’s why today we’re sharing with you one of the most magical and historic restaurants in Ibiza: El Bambuddha. After more than 20 years in operation, it has not lost the essence of the first day.
About the restaurant Bambuddha on the island of Ibiza
Bambuddha Ibiza is one of the island’s most iconic restaurants, known for its unique fusion of Mediterranean and Asian cuisine, spiritual ambience and exotic decor inspired by oriental temples.
Since they opened their doors in 1999, they have wanted to represent, together with their logo of the Three Pirate Buddhas, tolerance, respect and freedom.
Bambuddha has always been a pioneer and unconventional.
Its Asian style of serving, based on ‘sharing’ and ‘food is served when it is ready’, replaces the more formal ‘starters and main courses’ format of the European tradition, fostering a closer connection between diners and offering the opportunity to sample a wider variety of dishes.
Who is the owner of Bambuddha Ibiza?
The owner and creator of Bambuddha is John Moon, a traveller and visionary who was inspired by his many trips around Asia to create this unique restaurant in Ibiza. Hence, his cuisine is known as ‘MediterrAsian’, fusing recipes from Spain with dishes from Thailand, Vietnam and Japan.
After 24 years open and offering quality products to those who come to try their dishes, this restaurant has become one of the most popular in high season.
