Looking for a quiet cove to include in your itinerary for your next trip to Ibiza? In this article you will find a hidden treasure of the island: Cala Molí.
Located on the west coast of the island, it has become one of the favorite coves for tourists, as it is not usually crowded. It is one of the least crowded coves in Ibiza, and you can tell when you go there. You will feel as if you were on a private beach.
With 100 meters long and 35 meters wide, Cala Moli and its waters are waiting for you. There is so much to offer in this small, but great, paradise!
How to get to Cala Molí
The best way to get to Cala Molí is by car. Therefore, we recommend renting a car when you arrive in Ibiza. It will be much more convenient for you to make plans and not depend on schedules.
To reach this cove by car, follow the PM-803 road towards San José. Once you pass through the town, look for the detour that will take you to Cala Vadella and Cala Tarida.
But what if you don’t have a car? No problem! You also have the option of public transport.
Bus lines 05 and 42B are the closest to Cala Molí, although you will have to walk a bit to get to your destination.
Features of Cala Molí
Cala Molí is located between the charming villages of Cala Vadella and Cala Tarida, in a secluded and quiet environment. At the end of a creek, this cove is distinguished by its characteristic combination of rocks and a small stretch of sand at the top. With a predominantly rocky seabed, it is advisable to wear booties for comfort when walking on the rocks.
This corner is ideal for snorkelers, thanks to the crystal clear waters that facilitate the observation of marine life. In addition, the presence of caves adds another attraction to this picturesque beach.
Moreover, due to its location on the west coast, it is an excellent place to enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the Mediterranean Sea.
